Question. OK I live in South Carolina and my husband would like to get some fllour from New York. Is there anyway you can tell me what kind of flour you use and where you purchased it from so that I can order some so he would like to make bagels?
All good, even organic. Coffee was OK.
Great neighborhood sandwich shop.
Great bagel. Nice and chewy. Coffee is decent. Right on Nostrand. 👌
The #2 Bagel with Salmon and dill is scrumptious. Had the coffee for the first time today and it was really nice as well. Nothing amazingly special just a regular strength coffee but it was very smooth gentle which went well with the rich bagel.
MoreFirst Bagel in New York and it was delicious, coffee was great too with friendly service. I'd have breakfast there every morning if I was going to stay longer
MoreThis is a fantastic place to stop by if you have the extra time in the morning for breakfast! Food is always fresh and obviously very affordable!
MoreJust what we needed for great coffee when visiting Brooklyn
Lula Bagel is a small bagelshop in Brooklyn. The Bagels are somewhat expensive as is everything in New York. They do taste quite good I must say. They do not have tableservice. One of the girls at the counter was very sweet and the other seemed hostile, maybe she had a bad day. They do have tableseeting and I found it funny that the tablebases where that of sewing machines. We had to leave because they did not have a toilet for the customers which was a pity because we where enjoying ourselves.
MorePerfect local bagel shop - great coffee, matcha, pastries, and of course bagels. Not a lot of seating but somehow always able to snag a seat. And they don’t charge extra for oat milk!
MoreI'm from the West Coast so take my review with a grain of salt but I got a the whitefish spread on pumpernickel and it was super yummy. Bagels we're fresh and chewy. Tea selection was great and I thoroughly enjoyed my Earl grey with half/half. Lots of folks coming through so this seems like a popular spot.
MoreBagel was really good, but it took forever. I wish they would focus on bagels instead of all of the other breakfast offerings that take forever to cook. I just wanted one bagel and it took 25 minutes. Great little spot, but it'll be a long time before I come back.
MoreThe service and the food is super awesome
Really good bagel and coffee ,feels a bit pricey ,and even though had many people working the order came back in parts.
MoreVery nice coffee shop! The coffee is very good and the bagel are just incredible!
MoreDespite the long line around noon on a Saturday, the staff were very nice and service was pretty quick. The bagels are good, nice and chewy, but I do prefer a little more crunch on the outside. Very good scallion cream cheese! Cold brew wasn't quite strong enough for me, and there were coffee grounds at the bottom of my cup.
MoreDelicious espresso; bagels are ok. Service was slow, but background music was nice.
MoreBagels are not fresh! service was great and coffee was good. The shop is really cozy.
MoreGrab the thin and crispy chocolate chip cookie. It’s just $1
Wonderful bagel shop, the lox bagel and avocado delight are my favorites!
Amazing!!! Such good bagels and coffee. Seating is a bit limited (like most NY coffee spots) but so so good I’d be willing to stand while eating. I got the bacon egg and cheese and would highly recommend it! Go here and enjoy every bite!
MoreBagels were amazing and staff is really good. location is nice and i love eating here!!!
MoreIf you want a subpar bagel that will take too long to make this is the place to go. I went around 5ish to get an afternoon bagel thinking that it would be quick... little did I know it would take over 10 minutes for me to get a basic bagel. The bagel was tough to chew and cold since they just left it in the toaster!! I believe it is only popular because it is one of the only bagel places in the neighborhood.
MorePerfect. Sized. Bagels. Seriously never too much to eat. Never too much schmear. They'll forget a veggie here or there, and you'll have to wait a bit in line, but the food is pretty worth it! I wish they expanded their cream cheese selection, but it's a small local spot that strives to be just that. Don't think this is a grab & go situation. This is an order and enter deep conversations with your date from the night before situation. If you're trying to be nice and just want to buy the person a coffee and bagel, don't go here. You'll leave in a long term relationship.
MoreStepped through here this morning to grab a coffee and a pastry. The place had a nice vibe to it with lots of natural light and these interesting counters that look like someone emptied a toolbox into a spice rack and covered the whole deal with plexiglass.
MoreSuper quality, very tasty!
Good filling bagels. $3.25 for a Whole Wheat Everything Bagel with Olive Cream Cheese. They really load up the cream cheese, kind of excessive, it's enough extra to put on another bagel. $1 for a small coffee, good deal. Friendly workers. Gets busy in the weekends, but it's a quick wait.
MoreI have never had better bangles in my life! I look forward to see my friend in Brooklyn, I always get bagels when I go to see him. Bacon is cooked perfectly, the soft on the inside and hard on the outside toasted. It's heavenly.
MoreMy first new York bagel.
Love this place. The food is always delicious and fresh. I have been getting a cortado here every morning for 2 years always perfect. The staff is great.
MoreEverything here is great! Bagels are fresh and delicious, eggs are cooked to order, and the staff is friendly. Certain I'll be back soon.
MoreNot as good as it used to be. This was my go-to bagel spot for a couple of years before Bagel Pub moved in on Franklin. Lula’s bagels had always been chewy, delicious, proper New York City bagels in my experience. I stopped by this morning and got my usual order and was very surprised when the bagel was small, kind of stale, and pretty flavorless. Seems like they may have changed their bagel supplier (bagels have never been made there). Too bad!
MoreThe nutella spread is the greatest i have ever tasted! A little pricey but the food is good..
MoreGreat food, be prepared for a little bit of a wait! This place is popular!
I ordered a sandwich consisting of the following: egg (they only have hardboiled), avocado, tomato and mayo. I tried to add cheese (+2), but they forgot to put it on. My sandwich was served on a bagel (+$1) and I ordered a large iced coffee. My total check totaled $16 for breakfast and everything was just average. I don't think this place is worth the hype.
MoreLove the bagels and the breakfast brunch sandwhich. Fresh and tastes great. Service is not the best. Nice cozy atmosphere.
MoreNice neighborhood cafe, good music, compact menu and vintage decor.
Delicious Lox Bagels and food. Great coffee and service. 100% would recommend.
Great food. All-natural stuff
**Ordered takeout during COVID pandemic Small, corner storeFood*Whole wheat bagel with lox & dill cream cheese - small, compact, and delicious
MoreGood and kind service. You will never have an empty glass there :)Not too loud variety of good music surrounding You. If You like Good service, tasty food, casual atmosphere; this is the place to go. Very happy with a wide variety of meat.
MoreLula is frickin delicious. The bagels are not the super big doughy kind and are more between the big bagel and a bialy. They also offer a bunch of different speciality sandwiches as well - one of my favorites if you’re feeling ultra lux is the bacon egg cheese and avacado on a toasted sesame bagel. The counter is a cute spot to watch people passing by. Enjoy!
MoreA nice bagle, nice coffee.
I love this spot so much. Great addition to the neighborhood and definitely needed. Their bagels and cookies are so good.
MoreLula Bagel is the best bagel in town. They are so fresh and moist and delicious. Greatly recommend this place.
MoreReally good bagels and homemade spreads
Bagels are tastey and coffee is good but no customer access to bathroom (not that they don't have one... its just for employees only). Make sure your hands are washed and bladders empty before ordering in here!
MoreGreat little bagel shop with all sorts of bagel types and toppings, especially organic food.
MoreStopped by for coffee and breakfast to take on the road ahead of an 8 hour drive. Good food, very rude customer service, I felt like I was bothering the cashier by being there. She kept cutting me off as I was ordering. Waited for my croissant a good 10 minutes because she forgot that I ordered it, (all she just had to was put it in a bag and give it to me).
MoreFresh off the oven!
Great place for breakfast great customer service.....all ways have breakfast there....
